Rivertree Kids wants to help families know Jesus. Our mission is to come alongside the family in reaching kids with the Gospel of Christ and growing them up as Christ followers. We partner with parents to support the efforts they are making at home to influence their child’s spiritual development. We are partnering with parents to make disciples because this is the mission Jesus has given to the church. Our goal is for children to grow in their love for God and others because this is the fruit of healthy discipleship. Each time we receive a new child into our classroom we have another opportunity to share God’s plan with them and influence the next generation.
At Rivertree Church we are passionate about seeing today's young people get to know Jesus in a real and living way. We believe that through group discussion, studying the word together, times of worship, and special events that we can help your 6th - 12th graders have a real and growing relationship with Jesus.
Helping One Another Know Jesus
By Sharing the Gospel and Our Lives
Rivertree believes that discipleship is about relationships and happens within the context of relationships. We have the opportunity to be part of one another’s discipleship as we help one another know Jesus by sharing the gospel and our lives. There are several different ways to develop meaningful relationships and pursue discipleship at Rivertree.
Early in Jesus' ministry he went to synagogue. He took an ancient scroll and read from the book of Isaiah. "The Lord has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoner and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." With that, Jesus started his ministry and a revolution. He showed people what was important to God. The church exists to continue what Jesus started.
In our fellowship, we encourage everyone to help one another know Jesus by sharing the Gospel and our lives. From a place of hope and renewal we go to the spiritually needy and to the desperate places in our world offering Jesus. Sometimes this looks like tutoring a student, repairing a roof, sharing a meal, or shouldering a burden. Changing the world takes on different expressions but one thing is always the same - we do it in Jesus' name, because He has rescued us.

Music and the creative arts are one way we worship God in our Sunday morning gatherings at Rivertree. We sing songs to our great God, and celebrate His saving grace through Jesus’ atoning work on the cross. We use music and the arts to express our praise, adoration and devotion to God and to encourage the body (other believers) in their walk with Christ.
Each week we utilize the worship team to create an environment of praise through music, lighting and visual arts as well as drama, dance and other arts when appropriate. If you are interested in serving on the worship team, use the link below to contact us. We hold placement auditions/interviews on an as needed basis to ascertain skill level and help place people in the areas they are most gifted.
