Crisis Seminar

Carl Stewart, Licensed Professional Counselor, is hosting a free crisis seminar this coming Saturday, February 25 from 1-4 p.m. on the Rivertree campus to help equip the body of Christ to provide pastoral care to men struggling with pornography.

Carl specializes in marriage counseling in his private practice.  Specifically, he sees many married couples recovering from the effects of pornography or sexual addiction.  He has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)- the most successful and empirically validated approach to working with marriages.  Couples that go through EFT have a 75% success rate, meaning that they recover from stress and report being happy together regardless of how volatile they are at the beginning of therapy.

This specific seminar will focus on crisis care during times that pornography use has been discovered.  During the seminar, Carl will be teaching next steps based on years of seeing men and marriages set free from sexual sin and restored to healthy vibrant marriages, and Jesus is at the center of it all.  This seminar also gives concrete application to the principles in his book, “The Porn Antidote."

This event is for:
  - husbands and/or wives affected by pornography
  - pastors and church staff who counsel with individuals struggling with sexual sin
  - small group leaders who provide care for men and marriages
  - anyone wanting to help friends or family members who are impacted by pornography

The seminar is a live presentation and is free to attend. The recorded seminar will be available to the public for a fee in the future.  By attending the live seminar, you will receive a free copy of the presentation.
