Women's Ministry Fall Bible Study

1 Peter – A Living Hope In Christ

Study the book of 1 Peter with Jen Wilkin in this 9-session Bible study. In 1 Peter, a man of faith and flaws and eyewitness to the life of Christ challenges us to look beyond our current circumstances to a future inheritance. In 1 Peter, he shares his concerns on big picture issues for the early church, describes believers’ true identity in Christ, and ultimately helps readers discover what it means to experience the Living Hope they have in Christ.

Each week’s study contains five days of personal study, group discussion questions, and a page for taking notes from the video.

Join us on Tuesday mornings from 9:15-11:15 a.m. starting September 17, or on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. starting September 19. Childcare is available for the Tuesday morning study only - spaces are limited so register your child today! All children must be registered by September 10.

Materials Needed: Workbook and colored pencils

Purchase workbook from Amazon, LifeWay, or Christianbook prior to the first day of the study.

Rivertree Kids September Family Take Home

RTK September Family Take Home and Parent Resources

Stop by the kids lobby on Sunday, September 15, to pick up your next family take home. Also, have you checked out our Growth Chart for your child’s new phase? Stop by the lobby to pick one up! You can see what your K-5th child will be learning this year in addition to our Bible stories from our Gospel Project curriculum.

Download the LifeWay Kids app to access the Gospel Project, Volume 5: A Nation Divided, which we will be using till October 27. The Parent Cue app is a helpful resource to keep up with your child’s phase and use for devotionals, drive time and meal time discussions. Promotion Sunday

RTkids guide.jpeg

Our Rivertree Kids team is so excited to meet your child this Sunday as they move up to their new class!! All children 2 years through 5th grade will be promoting this Sunday, August 4th.  The new class will be printed on the child’s name tag. Children will be placed into the appropriate class based on their current age/grade. The nurseries are divided up into 6 weeks-8 months, 9-15 months and 16-23 months. Preschool (2s, 3s, 4s) promotion is based on your child’s age by September 1st and K-5th grade is based on current grade level for the 2019-2020 school year.

For example, children who are 2 years of age will move from the 16-23m nursery to the 2s class, those who are in the 2-year-old class will move to the 3s class, and so on.

Contact Kasi Duckett if you have any questions at kasi@myrivertree.org.
