Mission

At Rivertree Kids, we desire to partner with parents to influence the spiritual development of every child involved in our ministry. We are committed to providing fun and safe ministry environments that promote opportunities for growing while helping families know Jesus.

Our goal is to embrace our nursery and preschool kids so they feel safe and loved while we engage the interests of our elementary kids so they can discover how God’s story intersected with their story.

Safety

We believe that safety is vital as families entrust us with their children each week. We use ACS Checkpoint to have secure electronic check-in for Rivertree Kids.

At our check-in stations, all children will be issued a one-time use name tag, and parents will receive a parent pick-up sticker with a unique security number that matches their child’s name tag.

If we need you for any reason during the service, your number will appear on the screen in the Worship Center.

When picking up your child, simply show your sticker to the Rivertree Kids volunteers in your child’s class so that he or she can match the security numbers. This form of check-in will also alert our volunteers to any allergies or special needs your child may have.

Curriculum

Our preschool and elementary leaders use “The Gospel Project,” curriculum each Sunday. This curriculum allows us to walk through the Bible and help children understand that the Bible is not a group of stories, but one perfect plan for redemption of God’s people through Jesus.

Each week’s study will build upon the previous week, and we can’t wait to help boys and girls to discover the big picture of God’s story. In River Rock, our K-5th kids gather together to learn how to worship through songs, hear the Bible story and play an entertaining game.

With every class learning the same story of Sundays, it’s our hope that families will be able to continue the discussion throughout the week at home. Each week you can reinforce what your child learned on Sunday by incorporating the activity page they bring home or see what they learned on our website.

Parents can create a Ministry Grid account to access prayers, activities and more to discuss our Sunday lessons all week with your kids by clicking the button below!
